Carrie McAlister is an award winning Realtor with Red Oak Realty. Prior to real estate, Carrie worked in management consulting and international development. She has lived and worked in countries throughout Latin America and the Middle East. Carrie applies the strategic planning and negotiation techniques obtained in her years as a management consultant to benefit her clients in their real estate transactions.
When she is not helping clients with their real estate needs, Carrie works with local nonprofit organizations and documentary film production companies. Most recently, Carrie has been involved with a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing landmines from developing countries including Afghanistan, Angola and Cambodia.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. She lives with her husband and daughter in North Berkeley.
